Prof. Dr. Holger Jessel and Silvia Bender:

The Dialogue of Moving Bodies and Child Development – Strengths and Opportunities of Psychomotor in Practice “

In this workshop we will offer a dialogue that illustrates the strengths and potentials of psychomotricity in different fields of practice. We will deal with the following questions:

– What do children need for their successful development?

– How can we create meaningful relationships with children?

– What are the basic principles of psychomotricity?

– Why are play, dialogue and movement so important for children?

– How can we develop a professional attitude towards children?

Prof. Dr. Amara Eckert:

„Trauma-sensitive psychomotricity with pre-school children“

This seminar contents a brief information on komplex trauma and trauma-related disorders, shown by the kids. If we consider taruma related behaviour as coping strategies, which are needed to survive and develop as best as possible, we can connect to resources and create a place, that helps kids to learn and develop in a joyful way. We will discuss the psychomotor trauma-sensitive -concept and talk about ways and conditions to create this for children.

Nicole Seebach-Dietze:

Right in the Middle – Not Just on the Sidelines

How can we ensure that everyone actually plays and acts together. The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities has made it clear: all people, regardless of their physical condition, are equal and should be cared for, taught together and live together.

This does not happen on its own and with psychomotricity we have a valuable approach to support these processes and to accompany children – regardless of their competences – in playing and learning together.

Vanya Dunkova:

Psychomotricity  on Bulgarian territory – lessons from a short love

A story about the acquaintance and personal path of a Bulgarian specialist with Psychomotorics, as well as about the challenges of practicing it in private practice and the attempts to integrate it in the academic and social sphere in Bulgaria.
