Since January 2025, Bulgaria has been an official member of the the International organization of psychomotricity and relaxation OIPR – the organization that works for the development of psychomotricity in the world. Created in 1979 by Giselle B. Soubiran and Gérard Hermant.
The OIPR goals are unite psychomotor therapists from all countries and cultures; contribute to the development of training for psychomotor therapists by guaranteeing the quality of content and methods; act for organization, autonomy, and recognition by the official bodies of each country;
promote the use of psychomotor and relaxation therapies based on current knowledge and resulting from research.
