Since January 2025, Bulgaria has been an official member of the European Forum on Psychomotricity – the organization that supports the development of the discipline in Europe in various directions – educational, preventive and therapeutic practice, initial education, continuing education, as well as in professionalization and scientific research.
The “European Forum on Psychomotricity” aims to promote cooperation between psychomotor therapists coming from different countries and regions of Europe (mutual exchange, congresses, project development, formations, research), to support countries or regions where PMT is not yet well developed, through logistical or financial assistance, as well as to support initial or continuing education and defend it.
Bulgarian psychomotor specialists face the task of synchronizing and supplementing the education they have received and making it comparable and compliant with European standards.
